Where are Elemental products made?
At Elemental, we ensure our manufacturing processes, along with every other component of our business, are held to the highest of standards, including ethical and environmental practices.
Our bottles are designed, engraved, and printed in California, and manufactured in China.
Hydration Use & Care
Are Elemental hydration products dishwasher safe?
We recommend hand washing our water bottles. With the exception of the natural stainless steel, all our hydration products feature either a water-based paint followed by a clear protective coating, or a powder coating, which can deteriorate when regularly exposed to high water temperatures and the rigorous environment of a dishwasher. For best results, wash your Elemental product with a long-handled soft bristle brush, soap, and warm water.

Can my Elemental bottle go in the freezer?
No. When water expands into a solid, it can damage the structure of the bottle.
Can my Elemental bottle go in the microwave?
No. All Elemental hydration products are made of stainless steel, and are not made for the microwave.
Can my Elemental bottle hold carbonated beverages?
Our bottles and tumblers are all designed to carry carbonated beverages.
Health & Safety
What materials are used for Elemental hydration products?
Every Elemental hydration vessel is produced with high quality 18/8 stainless steel. Our sport caps are made of polypropylene #5. This plastic has been tested and is not known to leach any harmful chemicals or cause any health risks. It carries no bisphenols (BPA, BPS, etc), estrogenic activity (EA or estrogen leaching), or androgenic activity (AA or testosterone leaching).
What paint is used for Elemental hydration products?
The current Elemental water bottles have a powder coat finish. The coating is first applied as a dry powder and then cured under heat. Powder coat finishes are typically tougher and longer lasting than traditional paint.
Do Elemental water bottles contain or leach any potentially harmful chemicals, like BPA?
Not on our watch! We use the best materials in our products here at Elemental. Our products are safe for you and good for the environment.

How do I buy/redeem a gift card?
You can purchase a digital gift card here. To redeem a gift card, you can enter in your gift card code once you have selected product to buy, and are on the shopping cart page online.
How do I use a coupon?
To apply a coupon code, enter the code in the “discount code” box on the shopping cart page online and click "apply". Your total will adjust automatically.
My Account & Order Status
Why do I need an account?
You don’t have to create an account. But creating an account allows you to track your order, save your shipping information (to make future orders easier), and view your order history.
How do I create an account?
At the top of every page, there is a person icon called “Log in.” You can click the icon and enter an email and password to create an account. Or create an account here.
How do I edit my account information?
To edit account information, log-in to your account. From there you can edit your information. If you need help changing other information please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
I forgot my password.
If you have forgotten your password, enter your email on the “Log in” page. We will send you an email that will walk you through the process of resetting your password.
How do I check my order status?
You can check the status of your order by going to the “Account Dashboard” and then selecting “View Order.” This will take you to a page that provides your status and tracking information, if applicable.
Shipping & Returns
Bottle Warranty & Return Policy
Elemental offers a lifetime warranty for manufacturer defects on our water bottles and other hydration products purchased from www.elementalbottles.com. Please note that normal wear and tear, including scratches, dings, and other marks are not covered under the Elemental warranty. Manufacturer defects include but are not limited to: micro leaks, rough welds, and damages sustained prior to first use. If your product has sustained any of the aforementioned damage, or for further clarification or questions regarding Elemental’s return policy, please email us at email@example.com.
If you wish to return your purchased hydration item that has no manufacturer defect, you may do so if the returned goods are in perfect, unused condition. We can issue you a refund or web-store credit for an exchange. To initiate a return of any kind, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do I have to pay for shipping?
Elemental offers free shipping within the United States on orders totaling $34 or more and free international shipping on orders totaling $200 or more, before taxes and discounts. A shipping charge will be applied to your final order in all other scenarios.
Do you ship internationally?
We do ship to select international locations, although international shipping rates will be applied to your order total. To find out how much shipping will cost, you can select the product(s) you want, and check out to see a listing of shipping rates available to choose from before officially placing your order. Please note Elemental is not responsible for the duties and taxes that your country may charge for importing products. Elemental does not collect or control these fees, which may be charged after you place your order, upon import.
When will my order ship?
We do our best to ship your order within 1 business day of purchase, Monday-Friday. During the holiday season, we may become backlogged and the process can take longer. Exceptions may occur if there is a question regarding your order, in which case we will contact you directly. How do I return my order?
If you changed your mind on any product purchased, and it is in unused, perfect condition, we will be happy to process a return for you. Please note that we do not accept returns if the product has been used, and doesn’t have a manufacturer defect. You may direct any questions to our customer service team at email@example.com.

Do I have to pay sales tax?
You only pay sales tax if you’re purchasing from within the state of California. If you’re purchasing from within the state of California, the amount of sales tax depends upon your city’s specific sales tax code.

When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged directly upon purchase of a product.
When will my credit appear on my account?
If requesting a refund or store credit for a return, this amount will appear back on your form of payment, or on your Elemental account, once the return is resolved in full.
